Terms of Service
By using Remotracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
Remotracker is a remote team management platform that provides time tracking, task management, payroll workflows, meetings, team chat, and related tools. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
3. Account responsibilities
- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Keep your password secure; notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
- One person or organization per account
4. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Monitor employees without their knowledge and consent
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service except via our public API
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Impersonate any person or entity
5. Subscription and billing
- Free plan available for up to 5 team members with no time limit
- Pro plan billed monthly or annually at the rates published on our pricing page
- Subscription auto-renews until cancelled
- Refunds available within 14 days of initial Pro purchase
- Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you'll automatically move to the Free plan and retain access to your data.
7. Data ownership
You retain all rights to data you upload or generate through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use Your Content solely to provide the Service. We will not access, share, or sell Your Content for any other purpose.
8. Privacy
Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
9. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime on Pro and Enterprise plans, with a formal SLA available for Enterprise customers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance.
10. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. We will provide notice when possible.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remotracker's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remotracker from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your Content, or your use of the Service.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Milan, Italy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
